Biography
Having experienced severe back pain and injury as a child, it’s no surprise that the one thing that worked for David became something he wanted to pass on others. After years of failed attempts to heal his back through “traditional” means, Chiropractic finally brought relief, and sparked a passion for seeing others healed in the same way.
David holds a Masters in Chiropractic (Macquarie University) and postgraduate training in Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition, Myofascial Massage, Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation, all of which he brings into his holistic treatment programs.
David’s greatest passion is changing the mindset of his patients regarding their health, and the innate connection between health, habits and lifestyle choices. He enjoys incorporating stretching and good movement protocols in his methodology, in conjunction with good nutrition to foster sustainable and healthy lifestyle practices.
As a father of two very active young boys, David is an invaluable resource for people trying to juggle parenting responsibilities with their own healthcare, and who want to invest in the ongoing wellness of their families.
With experience spanning over 12 years and thousands of patients, David has created the ‘3Ways Integrated Approach’, which he believes addresses the gap between successful health care and pain management (long-term wellness versus short-term pain relief). In essence, he has worked hard to develop a simple formula that helps people bridge the gaps between pain, recovery and a balanced state of health, so they can begin living the life they want and pursuing what they love.
“It’s about removing barriers, creating clarity on recovery and changing focus, habits and lifestyle tenets. The 3Ways method is the new tool, the complete integration of my work and efforts, and I now only use this in practice and teach it to my students, colleagues and patients.”
David splits most of his non-contact clinical time between managing his two practices and teaching/health coaching. He makes sure he’s always up-to-date with the latest research in Chiropractic and natural therapies more generally. In his leisure time, two of David’s favourite hobbies are kayaking and timber crafting.
