Deborah has worked in the fitness and wellbeing sector for 12 years. She started as a Qualified Pilates Instructor and Exercise Professional, specialising in women’s health and fitness. She added Yoga to her teaching regime and holds a 200 hour Yoga teaching qualification.
Deborah has also worked in the corporate sector, presenting and running health and wellbeing workshops and seminars. She currently teaches Yoga and Pilates for corporate clients, helping them deal with the daily stress of modern living. She has guest lectured at TAFE for the Remedial Massage Department, enlightening students with her multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience of fitness and wellbeing.
Deborah’s philosophy is about finding balance and being present in the day-to-day. She encourages her clients to take a little time every day to stop, take a few deep breaths and just “be” in the present moment, without distraction. She believes if we truly listen to our innate sense of self, we can work towards being less stressed, fitter, healthier and happier.
Prior the working in health and wellbeing, Deborah worked in Entertainment and the Arts. She is also an accomplished photographer with a passion for visual art.
